Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the Launch Goblin app ("Launch Goblin", "we", "us") handles information when you use it. Launch Goblin is operated by Endpoint Technology LLC. The app is built to be private by design: it works without an account, and your marketing log stays on your device.

The short version

• You don't create an account, and we don't collect your email, phone number, or contacts.
• Your streaks, missions, receipts, and settings live on your device. We can't see them.
• The optional global leaderboard shares an anonymous goblin handle with your streak and XP — never your name. You can turn it off with one toggle.
• There are no ads, no advertising trackers, and no behavioral analytics SDKs in the app. RevenueCat processes anonymous subscription records so purchases and restores work reliably.
• We never sell your personal data.

Information stored on your device

Your goblin's state, streaks, XP, mission history, check-in receipts, the name you give during setup, your channel picks, and your preferences are stored locally on your iPhone. This data is not uploaded to us and is not synced to a cloud service. If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it. You can also erase it anytime from within the app (Settings → Reset all progress).

The first name you can share during setup is used only for greetings inside the app. It stays on your device and is never published to the leaderboard.

The leaderboard (optional)

Launch Goblin has a global leaderboard that works without accounts. It is off by default. If you enable it in Settings, the app publishes a small score record to a public database hosted on Apple's iCloud (CloudKit):

• A generated goblin handle (for example, "Gobsmack #4821") — never the name you typed during setup. You can reroll this handle in Settings.
• Your current streak, XP, and level, with a last-updated timestamp.
• A random identifier created on your device, used only so your own record can be updated. It is not derived from your identity, your Apple Account, or your device hardware.

This record contains no name, email, or contact information, and we cannot link it back to you. Leaderboards only display records that keep updating; a record that stops being refreshed disappears from everyone's board after about 30 days.

Your controls: a single toggle in Settings stops publishing immediately. Resetting all progress also clears the random identifier, which permanently disconnects any previously published record from your device. If you'd like a published record removed, email us with your goblin handle and we'll delete it.

Notifications

Reminders (morning mission, evening streak guard, daily roast) are local notifications, scheduled entirely on your device. There is no push-notification server, and nothing about your notification settings leaves your iPhone. Each stream can be turned off or re-timed in Settings, or disabled system-wide in iOS Settings.

Subscriptions & payments

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We use Apple's StoreKit and RevenueCat, a subscription management service, to validate subscription status, restore purchases, prevent fraud, and understand subscription performance. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app-user identifier and purchase history such as the product purchased, subscription status, price, currency, and transaction dates. We do not send RevenueCat your name, email, marketing log, mission history, receipt notes, or advertising identifier, and neither we nor RevenueCat receive your payment-card details. Analytics & tracking

Launch Goblin contains no behavioral analytics or advertising SDKs and does not track you across apps or websites. RevenueCat provides subscription analytics using the anonymous purchase records described above. The app does not request App Tracking Transparency permission, and its own diagnostic and product-event logs remain in Apple's on-device logging system.

Sharing

Share cards (streaks, roasts, daily receipts) are rendered on your device and shown to you before anything is shared. Nothing is posted anywhere unless you choose a destination in the iOS share sheet yourself.

Children

Launch Goblin is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information, including the right to know what is held and to have it deleted.

• Your marketing log lives only on your device, so we cannot access or delete it for you — use Settings → Reset all progress in the app.
• To have a published leaderboard record deleted, email support@endpointtechnologyllc.com with your goblin handle.
• For questions or deletion requests concerning the anonymous RevenueCat subscription record, email support@endpointtechnologyllc.com.
• We do not sell your personal information, and we never have. This includes "sale" as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date.
